Troubleshooting EAC Issues
If you're having issues with EAC, here are some solutions that may help.

Common Issues with EAC

  • Running programs EAC detects as suspicious.

  • Windows update are needed.

  • Game files need validation through Steam.

  • EAC verification, update, or re-installation are needed.

  • Make sure you're running latest Visual C++ Redistributables.

  • Close all unnecessary programs.

If you receive the error: "Login Blocked: Suspicious Software or Corrupted Install Detected," this is a detection and block from Easy Anti-Cheat service. Try the following steps to resolve the issue:

Troubleshooting EAC Issues

Forward Ports 18887 – 18903 set to Open

Make sure you set forward Ports 18887 – 18903 on your network to Open. If blocked, you will see periodic disconnections or failures to enter the world.

Error message: "Cannot connect to the server. Exiting the game. [EAC Offline]"

If you receive this message, follow the steps to Repair Service for EAC.

Repair Service, Reinstall, Update, or Verify EAC

To repair Easy Anti-Cheat:

  1. Open the Lost Ark Application in your Steam library.

  2. Open Settings, select Manage, and then Browse Local Files.

  3. Go to Steam > steamapps > common > Lost Ark > Binaries > Win64 and open the EasyAntiCheat folder.

  4. Right click the EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe file, and select Run as administrator.

  5. Select Current game, if it's not the default option, and then select Repair Service.

Verify integrity of game files

Scan for malware

Try scanning for malware. Malware can cause many adverse effects on your computer. These effects vary widely depending upon the type and purpose of the malware. High resource usage can be one of the symptoms, which directly impacts your gaming experience. If you have your own preferred anti-virus or anti-malware software, use it to scan your computer.

Anti-Virus

Errors with EAC can occur due to a virus infection on your system. Performing a full-system scan can help identify if there is an issue with your anti-virus. If your full system scan doesn't provide any results, ensure your anti-virus or other software is not falsely blocking Easy Anti-Cheat

Restart your computer
  1. Close all open programs, including Lost Ark and Steam.

  2. Select the Windows button, and then the power button.

  3. Select Restart.

If none of the troubleshooting steps work for you, please wait 24 hours to see if you receive an updated message when logging in.
