Troubleshooting Input Lag
If you're experiencing input lag while playing Amazon Games, here are some solutions that may help.

What is input lag?

Input lag is how long it takes (in milliseconds) for a monitor or TV to react after you input a command from your keyboard, mouse, etc.

Troubleshooting for Input Lag

  1. Switch to a wired keyboard and mouse, or controller. This will ensure that wireless latency or interference isn't a factor in your situation. If switching to wired doesn't improve your input latency, you can switch back to your preferred peripherals.

  2. Set V-Sync to OFF for the lowest possible input latency.

  3. Try lowering your in-game video settings to reduce the amount of work your computer's doing. This can reduce input lag in some cases.

Note: If you're using a monitor and GPU setup that supports Nvidia's G-SYNC or AMD's FreeSync, we suggest using this functionality instead of disabling V-Sync. While disabling V-Sync results in the lowest input latency, it could also cause screen tearing. Screen tearing is a visual artifact that can occur when the video feed isn't in sync with the display's refresh rate.
