Amazon Games has just announced Season 8 for New World: Aeternum, titled Season of the Divide, which arrives on May 13. In this compelling new season, adventurers will be thrown into fierce competition with a focus on high-stakes risk, fast progression, and massive player-versus-player (PvP) encounters.
Players on PC and console can look forward to exciting additions with the release of Season of the Divide, including:
Hardcore Seasonal World launches on June 3. This Seasonal World introduces a thrilling twist to character progression, granting players with elite rewards if they survive without dying.
Coral Divide – New Outpost Rush Map makes its debut this season as the exclusive Outpost Rush battlefield.
PvP New Mode and Maps will launch with Season 8 and include Capture the Flag, pitting two teams of 10 players against each other in a fast-paced fight to control the team’s flag. Previews for new competitive PvP modes will go live in May through July, so stay tuned!
Expeditions Unleashed: World Bosses will pit players against iconic enemies from Expeditions during limited-time, open-world events.
Barbershop will enable players to reimagine their characters’ appearance by spending Barbershop Tokens available in the store. Players receive a free token in the Season Pass!
Seasonal Events and Bonuses include Springtide Bloom (May 12 to June 2), Faction Fest: Expeditions (June 27 to 29), Fury of the Spriggan (July 1 to 14), and even more will go live in Season 8.
