Some of the highlights include Lost Ark celebrating its second anniversary and New World’s welcome to the Year of the Dragon. “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” And with that African proverb shared by Crystal Daniels, our International Women’s Day Panel was off and running. Last week in celebration of International Women’s Day, Rachel Irvine-Halliday and Laura Sturr moderated a panel around navigating equity and supporting women, non-binary & allies in games. All Amazon Games employees were encouraged to attend, and the turnout was fantastic! “Featuring Crystal Daniels, Megha Chawla, Penny Szeto, Fadhilah Lee, and Kiki Lewis, this year’s theme was ‘inspire inclusion’, highlighting the importance of investing in the growth of women and leadership development among them. Our panelists helped explore these themes and shared how they’ve both been inspired and have inspired inclusion through their personal experiences and across their careers. We focused on what this means for women in games and tech. How are we doing? What can we be doing more of?
