‘Lost Ark’ Unveils Part One of the 2024 Content Roadmap

Dec 18, 2023

The Lost Ark Team is excited to release the first part of the 2024 roadmap, including major new content arriving in Arkesia. The roadmap contents below are highlights, not a comprehensive list of every change coming to Arkesia over the next few months. For more details, checkout this longer post.

January

Brelshaza Inferno: The most difficult version of Legion Raids (Inferno) is all about proving you’re among the best in Arkesia. Rather than chasing the normal Legion Raid rewards, Inferno rewards include titles, achievements, Stronghold Structures, and more!

February

Second Anniversary Celebration: To celebrate Lost Ark’s anniversary, we’ll have a number of in-game events and rewards, including the Arkesia Festival. Each week of the festival, there will be a new co-op quest for players to participate in. The Team is also still fleshing out an additional event that will take players down memory lane, re-experiencing some of the most iconic pieces of Lost Ark content.

Valtan Extreme: Valtan will return, ready for vengeance in a challenging version of the raid. There are two versions of Valtan Extreme - Normal at item level 1580 and Hard at item level 1620.

March

Breaker Class: The new Breaker Class is coming West in March. A male version of the Scrapper, Breaker uses Heavy Gauntlets, mobility, and combos to deal massive damage. The Breaker will arrive with progression events, including a Super Mokoko Express Event and Event Powerpass.

Light of Destiny - Story Quests: The Lost Ark’s location is getting closer to being revealed, and Sacria is investigating the events in Pleccia. The Light of Destiny update will reveal the location of the Lost Ark, which brings us closer to the end of Story Chapter 1, answers important questions of the journey, and brings you to a new location.

Thaemine Prelude: Thirain, the King of Luterra, swore on Vanquisher to always protect the people of Luterra and Arkesia. However, suspicious events are occurring in Luterra. A new line of story quests lead into the Thaemine Legion Raid. The prelude will require Item Level 1520.

April

Thaemine: After the events of the prelude, track powerful Legion Commander Thaemine to his Dark fortress for a war between Light and Darkness. Now, the loyal knights imbued with Thaemine's dark blessings rush to Arkesia. Thaemine is an 8-player Legion Raid, with Normal Mode requiring Item Level 1610 and Hard Mode needing Item Level 1630.

Transcendence Gear Progression System: Similar to Elixirs, Gear Transcendence is a new system in which players can reinforce and improve their gear’s basic effects by using ancient power sealed within ruins. Crafting materials used in Transcendence can be acquired from the Thaemine Legion Raid. The Road to Thaemine progression event will also arrive in this update.

Vescal Guardian Raid: Vescal is a new 1630 Guardian Raid that will release alongside Thaemine. Vescal is a Chaos Guardian who hunts enemies by using sound waves. He needs to be stopped. Like other Guardians, you will be able to clear once a day for increased rewards.
